Approach
For nearly 15 years, Williams Group has developed titles/themes and design concepts that creatively convey the focus and celebrate the work of the last year, as well as the organization’s now 96-year-old mission. For the 2020 Annual Report, we worked to develop a theme and visual approach that both reflects the Endowment’s commitment to racial equity as well as its ongoing work with children and families, rural churches and communities, in health care and higher education. The theme needed to evoke the inherent optimism and humility of The Duke Endowment, while acknowledging the atrocities and subsequent protests during the previous year, as well as the significant work that lies ahead. We provide content support and craft user experiences that reinforce the theme of that work—efficiently managing the process from strategy to production of print and online reports.
